About Wendy

Wendy Hymes is known to exert definitive interpretations of standard repertoire from the Baroque era to living composers. A passionate advocate for intercultural music, especially non-European composers from Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, she performs with and directs the Intercultural Music Initiative Chamber Players, a mixed ensemble dedicated to performing music by diverse composers.
